In the short amount of time that we have been open, we have seen lives already being transformed by the generosity of people like you.

A precious woman who had been abused by her husband for many years stopped by City Of Lights looking for help. Fleeing her abuser, she took her children and left with nothing. The Housing Authority took her in and all she had was a mattress on the floor.

Thanks to people like you, she now has a home that is furnished. Even a Christmas tree was donated for her and her children! We are now helping her to get enrolled in the GED program with Bevill State. She and her children have a brighter future because of people like you.
